This edition of our mix series features Fisher Bryce out of Vancouver BC. We met Bryce after our Pride set a few years back and quickly connected quickly over similar musical tastes. 

Here are a few words about the mix from the man himself: 

The mix is a combination of some old 90s tracks I've been obsessed with recently and some new stuff that I think borrows sound from that time. I specifically made this with my brother in mind; to honour the times we had as kids playing outside on the farm in Saskatchewan, with our wild imaginations creating pretend lands and forts in the forest with all the freedom we had to explore in such a small town. Nostalgia and curiosity run deep in this one.

BACKNBODYHERTZ, Seattle-based Syrian-American DJ Shareef Ismail, has become well known over the last several months in the Emerald City for their sets filled with raw, hybridized, techno and breaks. Despite stepping up to the decks fairly recently in Seattle, Shareef has been at it for years, playing music in Cairo before relocating to the states.

Just since his debut at Seattle party Get U Off, Shareef has been embraced by the PNW dance music community, spinning often at other Kremwerk parties like Club Slip, Atmospherique, and Girth, as well as more underground endeavours such as Impromptu, alongside Sepehr and fellow local 'nohup'.

It was after the last installment of Bodytalk in particular that we had to reach out to share Shareef's sound and story.
