You ready for a mega flashback?! Here's my set from when I played with the mighty Above & Beyond in 2006 @ Circus Hollywood back when I was resident for Spundae. [Vinyl + CDJ set] Listening to the set brought back some really great memories :) Were any of you there? Was such an amazing time for trance and progressive trance back then, so many gems! Movements

We can learn about a DJ looking across years of the craft; it's the best way to find distinctions in style.  Dante holds down a rare position by exposing the listener to many of his musical influences right in the same set.  This podcast is a prime example of style across timelines, and a willingness to stay current.  But the real treat (scratch that; refinement) here is the knack he has developed for exploration in a single track.  At 59 minutes is a peak example of this bundle of style.  Take your time, dig in, and pick up the breadcrumbs leading you through a DJ's life in sound.

This mix shines a light on both art and artist.  But as entertainment it is larger than the sum of its parts.
