 ヒップホップ黄金期である90年代にDJ/トラックメイカーとしての活動を杜の都＝仙台でスタートさせ、同郷のDJ Mitsu the Beatsと共に国境／ジャンルを越えたプロップスを集め続けるgrooveman Spot。サンプリングというアートフォームに導かれた屈指のヴァイナル・ディガーとしての側面、揺るぎないプロダクション・スキルと経験に裏付けされたヒップホップ・プロデューサーとしての確固たるバックグラウンド、そしてダンサーとしてのキャリアを持つgrooveman Spotが生み出す音世界は、ビートダウン、コズミック・ブギー、ミニマル、ロウ・ハウスといった同時代的なダンスミュージックと共振しながら独自の進化を遂げてきた。
　
 2006年の1stアルバム『Eternal Development』のリリースから10年を経てここに届けられたニューアルバム『 Resynthesis (Red)』は、この10年におけるgrooveman Spotのトラックメーカー／プロデューサーとしての音楽性の広がり、DJ/ダンサーとしてのフロア感覚の進化を集約させた、ストレートなヒップホップ／ビート・アルバムとなっている。
