Doula is a Brooklyn-based DJ born in Harlem and raised in The Bronx. With a taste for all things strange, stuttered and atmospherically curious, they like to create tension on the dance floor by shifting between melody, space and hyperactive drum lines.

"When recording, I found myself departing from a highly thought out setlist I prepared for this mix, which seems to be a trend with my mixes recently. This is a rare techno moment for me, regardless it contains a lot of what defines my current sound. Atmospheric, estranging music with intricate drumlines, percussive melodic elements and cinematic applications of bass, all looking forward and backwards through time."
