Hey folks!

When i started this musical journey i always thought playing Fusion Festival would be this once in a life time special event, so to come back and play a fourth time is quite the treat. From the moment i arrive at Fusion i feel so welcome and free to showcase my music and style of playing. It's a place that nurtures individuality, supports risk takers and does not care for what's on trend, so i thank you Fusion.

I also want to show my gratitude to the Seebühne crew for looking after me on the night and also making me feel very welcome. The stage really did look great and the sound was like a warm hug :)

Lastly i need to thank everyone who came to dance, listen and whistle (lol), none of this works without you so i'll always be in your debt and hope my musical journey keeps you entertained for years to come <3

Dearest lovely sweet sunshine munchers, here at last is our set from this year‘s fusion festival! re-recorded at home due to the technical difficulties on stage which sadly rendered the live recording unusable. That aside, karl kutter were the loveliest hosts we could have hoped for, and endless love goes out to all the amazing beautiful sweethearts that came to dance to our music, feet in the sand and hearts in the skies! ❤️🌞🐌🚀

Recording of my set from the first sunrise of Fusion Festival 2025 ❤  

Thank you Dubstation crew for having me at your wonderful stage and big thanks to all the beautiful souls who came and danced with me! 🙏 Probably my favourite set so far, with the most welcoming open-hearted crowd I could wish for 🥰

Usually I get an hour and half so I mostly play the music I released, but this time I got 3 hours so I played lots of other tunes as well! Even played one unreleased tune I wrote recently ☺️

As my slot was during that transitional part of the day when darkness turns into light, I tried to create a journey which would follow that natural rhythm. During the night I played some heavier bass music, dubstep & drum and bass, then as it started to become brighter I transitioned to downtempo, psybass & psydub, and as the sun came out I finished with come chillout and ambient to welcome the new day 🌞

Playing some of my favourite music while the sun was rising and shining through the trees directly on the stage, with all the dancing smiling people soaking it all up, was something truly magical! ✨😇

Thank you Fusion family!!! 💓

Another beautiful morning at glamorous Kutter with all you dancy people, sunshine, some 45 records and some digi files. A ride through soulful sounds, funky calypsonians, burning hot lovers rock to smoothing grooving disco tunes. Big shout out to all Kutter massive and crew from the coffee brewies, to the bar, team deco, sound and light techies, all sweethearts working in back, front, up, down, under and all over, all care takers and especially big love to our kitchen family. Without all of you this place wouldn’t be the same. Thanks from the bottom of of hearts and record boxes.

This night was a journey through the many genres I adore and a deep dive into the music I love most and where I feel truly at home.
But what made it extra special were all the different people who showed up for this set.Old friends and stories looping back since so many years. Connections on so many levels...what a gift ♡

This one meant a lot. I first attended Fusion the same year I picked up DJing and coming back this year to play felt like a full circle moment. It was an honor and a privilege to share my sound in a place that has given me so much inspiration over the years.

Massive thanks to Sui and the amazing team behind the Karl Kutter stage for trusting me with this opportunity. I’ll carry this one with me for a long time.

PART I - High energy into the night

There is this place which operates as a glitch of the systemic reality. A temporary autonomous zone which eludes the social rules and norms for a moment, a crack in time in space which gives us a glimpse of what also can be there. It does so because it’s temporary and therefore sinks deep into to our hearts and colours imagination of possible worlds. It’s a situational laboratory and shouldn’t be confused with „the“ solution to systemic reality and therefore romanticized. Its strength lies in the vulnerability to its own fallibility and the ever going trial and error, as an organic growth and transformational process. 
And then there is the glitch in the glitch. A beloved space by many and at the same time known by few, who intuitively and courageously are on a constant search for those cracks in time and space. 
On the first night of Karla Kutter Stage of Fusion Festival 2025 the space generously was given to an idea of DJ performance which itself is a crack in time & space. 

The (friend of the stage) & friends slot. After last years amazing Etkin & friends slot which started this series this year 
Sui & friends filled the space from late night hours till the morning. This concept seeks to deconstruct common ideas of DJ-performance & performance-pressure and is focussed on the celebration of friendship and the shared love and dedication for music and artistic expressions through sound. 

As chaos never died and we swim through chaos, but together. 

The friends which lovingly and warmly brought their magic to Karla Kutter and created this journey through various ideas of bass music, are dk, Spoonman Dj & UMAIR. 

dk is deeply interested and therefore connected to the environments of living beings and their expressions beyond human perception. As she exposes these complex structures in her artistic approach she constantly webbed unknown, complex yet thriving sounds into this sound journey. @dianavommond

dj spoonman full of musical and human care not only knows how to play a ballad with two wooden spoons but also how to keep a flow going in the most surprisingly sounding ways. @spoonmandj

UMAIR as the first arthouse filmmaker from Karachi, Pakistan and incredible soul of human knows how to tell a story in multidimensional ways in image and sound. @uma1rbilal

"Suis incredibly fine attunement to environment and emotional depths combined with deep archives of carefully selected music is what makes us stay at this space, to linger connect and feel each other." (dk about sui, Berlin, July 25)

Seit 2008 legen sie ihre Techno- und House-Maxis zu langsam auf – in 33 statt 45 rpm. In Zeitlupe wird der Groove zum hypnotischen Mantra, der Drop zum Gleitflug, die Beats schlagen Kapriolen von ungeahnter Schönheit. Dazu lässt es sich famos tanzen – besser, länger und langsamer.

Started DJing in 1999 when I came in contact with psychedelic trance. I never played with vinyl or cd but started as a digital dj. The first years I used my desktop pc, later switch to a smaller Shuttle barebone. Since 2003 I'm a proud owner of IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad notebooks, first one was a T23, in 2011 I bought a T61.
