A song I've been working on for a long time now.  I started writing this in the summer of 2012, and it wasn't until tonight that I felt it was finally ready to record.
Aside from the layers of synth, there's some sparse piano and highly modulated guitar, as well as some modulated spoken words.
The lyrics were the first part I wrote for this song, and are as follows:
The first rays of light from a newly born sun,
Descend on a darkening world,
And everything blackened will turn into gold,
The dawn of our dreams is unfurled.

I see this song as the first in a set, or the opener for an album.  As I create more songs that fit in the theme and concept I've started here, I'll add them to a playlist in order so you get an idea of the musical journey I'm trying to take you on.
