Every time I hear Suz's voice, I find a perfect balance of fire and ice, passion and control. In this rework of the track "Test Of Gold" I tried to accentuate the blues nature of the song, imagining how Robert Johnson and Blind Willie Johnson could sound  through granular synthesis. Suz is the moniker of italian singer, songwriter and producer Susanna La Polla De Giovanni. After opening for artists such as Daddy G (Massive Attack), Roni Size, Asian Dub Foundation and playing at Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg (D) and WMC in Hamamatsu (JP) she toured Europe with electronic producer White Raven to promote her album “Lacework" released by Irma Records in 2015. In 2019 German label Springstoff released "Crossroads", her collaboration with tunisian producer Youssef Labidi aka Obsqure, and in 2022 "Hiatus" a new EP entirely produced by the musician ranging from big beat to psychedelica launched by the single "Winds of Summer Fields"
