Hailing from Ukraine, SHMN is a master at melding the gamut of styles and sonics across the spectrum of electronic music. Previously released on the likes of Lost on You, Beatfreak Recordings, and Click Records, he has built for himself an eclectic discography which delves into a variety of sub-genres within the electronic music. Now he steps up for an early standout EP on Poesie Musik with two tracks of powerful melodic techno.

Dogma is first and is edgy and arresting stuff with tense synth lines hanging in the air above the dark drums. There is a late night and dystopian feel to this one that locks you in and keeps you in suspense. Tenet is another blistering cut with cinematic design. The drums roll deep and frosty pads unravel up top as menacing pads bring a broody feel.

This is a superb EP from this top talent.

The second EP of the Rotterdam based techno label Infinite Depth is here. The originals of the ‘Van Melle EP’ are created by the upcoming Dutch talent Beswerda (@Beswerdamusic). The EP contains three promising originals and two great remixes. One remix by the popular Swiss duo ENØS (@Enosofc) and one by another Dutch artist called Precursor (@Precursornl).

The main track ‘Van Melle’ immediately gives you the feeling of being launched. Not into the sky, but right to the middle of the earth where the sound of some really pounding kicks are heard.
The second track ‘Toz’ lets you explore multiple spaces during your long trip to the middle of the earth. Be careful that you won’t get lost and let the pounding combination of the kick and the bass direct you.

Arriving at the center of the earth you will find the ENØS remix of ‘Toz’. Electric sounds are heard everywhere and it gives you the feeling of an endless empty space, just as the atmosphere of the streets after exiting a warehouse in the early morning.

With the third track ‘Pergola’, you will start your way back to the earth’s surface. Some appealing melodies are pulling you up, but the lower frequencies are still dragging you down.

The eccentric and slightly dubby Precursor remix of ‘Pergola’ gives you the harmonious feeling of arriving back from the trip. He managed to use those appealing melodies to create more as a great completion of this journey.

Prolonged stays abroad in southern France and California significantly influenced the cosmopolitan, warm-hearted artist, in finding her personal sound. To describe her style, you have to look for the "sweet spot" of progressive house and melodic techno. SUZé’s sets have depth and take the audience on a musical journey and a unique sound experience. Her sound is characterized by melodies, chords and a pulsating groove in perfect harmony. The atmosphere is always in focus and remains equally dynamic. 
People may forget what someone said or did at a certain moment, but they will never forget how they felt with a person. It's the same with SUZé’s gigs – her audience is always left with emotions that stay. Connectedness and freedom can be felt in her sets in equal measure and you notice that electronic music is her special passion and her long-time companion or as she says herself: her "faithful swan".
