Happy new year, everyone! 2017 is here, and we want to celebrate it by sharing a track with you that we've been working on for some time. The last couple of months we've been busy writing and rehearsing a lot of new songs, we can't wait to share it all with you soon! Our main goal this year is to release a new album in the fall, but our minds are so full of music, and fall seems very far away (even though it isn't), so here a track just for you: Cinderella.

Hooks chopped in two, beats that surprise and pummel, vocals that on the surface sound absurd but are full of melodic comfort and guitars that evoke the soundtrack of an old Nintendo game.

Svankropp list themselves a Scandinavian cyber-punk phenomenon. Inspired by sci-fi, 80’s glam, noisy indie, goths and the odd power ballad it’s fair to say that the music could move in any direction but it’s still distinctly Svankropp, no matter what they do. Angular guitars and epileptic drums, obscured vocals and blistering bass are at the core of everything when Svankropp channel their chaotic tendencies into playful absurdity, all-out sonic mayhem and delicious songs - yup, that’s about right.
