Something Comforting (Endless Remix)

Akiechi Weimei, Magical Mangrove is a short nature documentary by Emanuel Parra about the mangrove islands in the lake Maracaibo, we had the privilege of composing the soundtrack for it and came up with two tracks. 

The first track, bearing the homonymous name of the island, immerses you in the idyll landscapes and majestic qualities of this fascinating ecosystem that appears to be magically floating on top of the sea. This slowly evolving ambient piece uses a complex tapestry of interwoven sounds reminiscent of the biodiversity that coexists in this unique biome. 

Titled after a décima by Danny "Olegario" Ortega 'The Poet of the Mangroves', the track 2 was inspired by traditional music of the state Zulia, specifically gaita zuliana and danza zuliana, and its the first time we write a piece of original venezuelan folk music, with real instruments, performed by real musicians, which I am fortunate to call my friends and family, this project would have not been possible without them.
