With his 29 years, Sven Kaufmann can already show a DJ experience of over 10 years. Starting at the age of 17 makes him one of the most experienced DJs of his age. He has been enjoying several residencies in different clubs in North Rhine Westphalia, further gigs throughout Germany, as well as in eight different European countries.
His sound is quite extravagant, adult and sophisticated.

Many people ask what exactly Sven Kaufmann plays?! The ambivalence of his sound makes an exact description of his sets quite difficult. Since the foundation of his brand MONOZENTRIK his sound has even become more versatile.   

A simple, but true definition would be:
“Electronic dance music that not everybody understands, but everybody likes, who gets involved with it.”

Bringing together different elements and styles, combining influences of deep House, Techno and Electro… those are his premises. He also likes to surprise the crowd with oldschool styles like Jack House or Neo-Trance.  

His highest aim is to make people dance to his music and enjoy what’s coming out the boxes. 

His sound is static, he comes along with a melodious or even techno-inspired set… you never know, but it’s always wicked! 

His event series MONOZENTRIK shows the reputation and awareness level, that he and his sound enjoy in Germany. He has been working with acts like Phonique (Dessous), Luna City Express (Moonhabour), Hans Nieswandt (Mute), Vincenzo (Dessous) Mathias Schaffhäuser (Ware), Tigerskin (Oppossum Rec.) Exercise One (Mobilee), Patrick Specke (Kahlwild), Jack Fairley aka Fairmont (Border Community), Woody (Fumakilla), Tobias Becker (Platzhirsch), Daso (Connaisseur), Afrilounge (Pokerflat) or Len Faki (Panoramabar/Berghain)… people that have been influencing him and his sound.
