Damit niemand, der dem Schlager gegenüber seine kulturellen Vorbehalte pflegt, auf die Idee kommt, Christian Bruhn wäre, wie die Helene-Fischer-Produzenten heute, nicht mehr als ein raffinierter Stimmungsfabrikant, wird eines Besseren belehrt. An manchen Stellen im Film vielleicht etwas zu bemüht. Es treten auf: Klaus Doldinger, der sagt, das Leichte sei schon immer schwieriger gewesen als das Schwere. Remixer und DJs, die von Bruhns Musik schwärmen, als wären „Shamtu Shampoo bringt Spannkraft ins Haar“ und „LBS – Wir geben Ihrer Zukunft ein Zuhause“ Klassiker des Krautrocks. DJ Hell wandelt in seiner knöchellangen Bomberjacke durch die heiligen Hallen, lässt sich die Musik zur Fernsehserie „Timm Thaler“ von den Originaltonbändern vorspielen, kämpft mit den Tränen und nennt seinen Gastgeber „Professor Bruhn“.
