cura cura ... whats that for 1 nice track?

Here we are, Lovecast 100, time to look back at 8 years full of love with the help of some of our global residents, they each contributed 2-3 tracks to this set and take you on a musical journey down the memory lane.... 

1) @marcelpuntheller - Our first Global Resident and personified Globetrotter Marcel, currently based in Mexico, and constant supporter and good mood spreader at LF Events all over the world. Too many gigs for us to keep track, most notable moment might be the 14 Hour Set at our Stage at Distant Grounds Festival in Greece in Summer 2016. 

2) Kotoe aka @kotoek was the Angel that helped us organize the LF Tour in Brasil in January 2018, together with @andrevictor. She became a close friend during this crazy tour and a global resident afterwards. Most notably probably her Gig during Katzensprung Festival 2019, the Festival organisers asked us to put three acts on our stage and Kotoe had to play after @missmelera, which plays around 20bpm faster then her, she managed perfectly of course ;) 

3) Laura aka @lola-villa-musica had her first gig ever in our beloved LF Amsterdam home, the Waterhouse, she became our first Amsterdam Resident together with Sauerkraut and played for us all over the world afterwards. She is currently residing in Mexico, but we hope to welcome her soon in Europe again. Most notable Gig, maybe the closing set of Pilzkiste in Maastricht in 2018, "I bless the rains down in Africa".... 

4) Simeon aka @feinheitsbrei is a LF Dresden resident and an incredible producer that also had several releases on our Label, Hug Records. Most notable Gig was probably Simeon playing on the main Floor of Fluc under a Highway in Vienna, at a party that we organised together with our friends from @downvienna. 

5)Moti aka @funkamel1 was one of the driving force behind LF Tel Aviv and he also happens to be a great DJ. Funkamel has been playing at many of our Israeli parties, including the closing set at the last big party of LF Tel Aviv before the Pandemic began, on 27.02.2020. 

6) @rafiralfiro is a LF Family member since many years and was very involved in the setting up of LF Brussels, his most notable Gig for us was probably at one of the last parties in our beloved Waterhouse, in summer 2016. 

7) @mahfoudmusic is the Artist that has been involved the longest with LF, being one of the main music exports from Maastricht, the birth place of LF, he has played a set at our third party ever, back in 2013 and he had played countless of other sets afterwards for us all over the world. Having been born in Syria, his set for LF Tel Aviv in 2017, is probably the most memorable one though. 

8) If you have been involved with LF for a while, then you know that there was only one possible closer for this podcast, the LF closer himself, Mr. @tantedante So many legendary days and nights were closed by him, but one certainly stands out, the first 48 Hour Party of LF at Mensch Meier, where a planned 2 Hour closing set of Dante ended with a 4 Hour set after 50 hours .... the MM crew loved the set too much to stop it, despite the 48 hours that had passed already. 

This is of course just a small selection, but it is already our longest Lovecast so far, so we can not share all of our residents in one Lovecast unfortunately. We are however deeply thankful to all the artists and volunteers that made it such an incredible journey so far and we look forward to many more unforgettable moments together.

Lovecast 100 - LF Resident Collaboration

AFTER AUA feriert GEBURTSTAG – und pünktlich zu unserem Jubiläum (Juuuhuuu) kommt einer der miesesten Krachmacher mit seinem Planetengeschwader herangesegelt und schiebt uns ein Geburtstagsständchen in den Gehörgang, von dem wir sprachlos staunend zurückgeblieben sind.

Wenn gefangen zwischen den kühnsten Melodien der Bass so klatschend reindrückt, dass euch die Socken aus den Sandalen fliegen, dann ist kein geringerer als https://soundcloud.com/diesonnensysteme in die After Aua eingekehrt <3 

Da er nicht nur unseren Namen, sondern auch unsere Sektliebe teilt, haben wir den Meister des knackig dystopischen Downtempos von fernab der Vorstellungskraft in unseren Kosmos eingeflogen. Ihm wurde die glanzvolle Aufgabe übertragen, das Geburtstagsständchen der After Aua zu kreieren. Wenn er nicht grade seine Interpretation der After Aua zum Besten gibt, ist er über den gesamten Planeten Germany und darüber hinaus regelmäßig auf allen guten Festivalitäten sowie den allseits bekannten Floorschiffen des Landes anzutreffen.
Der in Halle gelandete Downtempo-Gesannte weit entfernter Galaxien entführt uns zu einer kosmischen Himmelsfahrt, die unsere Ohren noch immer vor Ekstase zucken lässt. 🤩

In diesem Sinne: Korken knallen, Sekt laufen und Musik für sich sprechen lassen. 🥂

AFTER AUA celebrates BIRTHDAY - and just in time for our anniversary (Juuuhuu) comes one of the thickest noisemakers with his planetary squadron and pushes us a birthday serenade in the auditory canal, of which we are left speechless amazement.

Since he shares not only our name but also our love of champagne, we have flown the master of crisp dystopian downtempo from far from imagination into our cosmos. He was given the glorious task of creating the birthday serenade of After Aua. When he is not performing his interpretation of the After Aua, he can be found all over the planet Germany and beyond on all good festivals as well as on the well-known floor ships of the country.
Landed in Halle, the downtempo-known of far away galaxies takes us to a cosmic sky ride that still makes our ears twitch with ecstasy. 🤩

With this in mind, pop the corks, run the champagne and let the music speak for itself. 🥂

Heute präsentiere ich euch eine wunderbare entspanntes Set von dem grandiosen Unterhaltungskünstler „I am Harald“ aus Hannover. Seinem Sound verfolge ich auf Empfehlung meines geschätzen Afterhour Kollegen Martin schon seit längerer Zeit. Und letztens auf einer Party in Hildesheim haben wir uns nun auch persönlich getroffen … was soll ich sagen wir haben uns prächtig amüsiert.

Den Termin für den Podcast hatten wir schon seit langer Zeit ausgemacht und Harald wollte mir was ganz besonderes basteln. Nun haben wir uns aber entschlossen diese wunderbare mitgeschnittene Afterhour einer ganz besonderen Party in Italien zu veröffentlichen. Borgo D'Ale liegt zu Füssen der italienischen Alpen und war Austragungsort einer anscheinend sehr gemütlichen kleinen Family-Party … aber wir wollen hier gar nicht so viel erzählen … ich glaube die Musik spricht für sich.

Harald viele Dank für diese wunderbare Stunde und nun wünsch ich allen Hörern eine traumhafte Reise in den Süden.

Welcome back to the Magician On Duty Journey Series!

On this edition, we welcome @lasse_lambretta

Along the shores of multiple genres, Lasse Lambretta lives for trippy, multi-layered, and diverse music. By blending distorted vocals with whipping percussions and adding a therapeutic dosis of acid, the oddball with the Scandinavian - Mediterranean name concocts a hypnotic sound, while wearing a mischievous smile on his lips. 

A member of the collectives fernab, drosssel, [ɔstˈɛnd] and “the other half” of KGLN, he likes to mingle and create with like-minded individuals. At times cheesy, at times over the top, sometimes deep, sometimes dark: A session with this rascal plays at cozy yet driving tempo and in the end, everything seems to be a little bit different.
Diagnosis: state post rave.
