Kali Uchis - Blue (ZAXX Midnight Club Mix)

For my 2nd track, I started out by composing my own base rhythm and atmosphere using the conga, bongo, timbales, chimes, bow and fog pad all in ableton live native instruments, then I layered in so many atmospheric, vibey elements, from diaspora soweto vocals, to gamelan orchestra, and gnawa guembri & so many more. Then I finished off the track by sampling in the beautiful and enchanting vocals of Kali Uchis. Then I played around with arrangement, timing, and on-purpose "mistakes" in order to create a more organic feel & develop what I believe to be a beautiful, hypnotic, & enchanting track that reminds me of the many nights I have spent at jungle parties underneath the full moon- dancing the night away- entranced, immersed, and protected by the beautiful and vast jungles of the Mexican Caribbean.

Sultry vocals layer into rhythmic melodies as singer-songwriter SVNOIR (“s-v-nwar”) blends
elements of Alternative R&B,  Indie and Hip hop.

Born and raised in Tampa Bay, she first debuted on Soundcloud  in 2018 releasing Quarter Century, a four song
EP featuring introspective lyrics of heartbreak and self-acceptance . Catching the attention of
listeners shortly after her debut release, SV connects with audiences through her immersive live
performances; creating an atmospheric vibe with a velvety texture and provocative dance moves to match.

SV showcases her mellow yet adventurous sound inspired by the works of R&B artists like Jhene Aiko and
SZA. In her rookie year she acquired the recognition of rebuttable Tampa-Based, Mieux
Magazine; highlighting Quarter Century EP  as having "refreshingly different vocal styles that showcase her versatility as a singer."

Later that year, SV went on to be nominated for three Mieux Magazine Awards: Female Artist
of the Year, Debut Project of the Year, and Breakthrough Artist of the Year. She is currently working on new music to explore her stylistic range.
