Olaf Stuut - Siren (Dauwd Remix)

Axel Boman broke through in 2010 with his Holy Love EP, released on DJ Koze's Pampa Records. The track Purple Drank became an instant classic in underground house music circles – since then, Boman has toured extensively while releasing original productions and remixes on labels like DFA, Hypercolour, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation and Ovum, as well as on Studio Barnhus, the label he runs together with Kornél Kovács and Petter Nordkvist.

Family Vacation, Boman's debut album, arrives on Studio Barnhus in November 2013.

“I decided to go through the vast collection of ideas and sketches I had on my computer, as a final project before I set that machine on fire and let it all go up in flames. Kind of like what Lee "Scratch" Perry did with The Black Ark in Kingston in the 70's. A friend says the album sounds like “weird Jamaican space disco" so maybe it's a fitting reference”, says Boman himself.

Axel Boman's music has also been described as "raw and playful house music drenched in oceans of soul". He graduated with a master's degree from Valand School of Fine Arts in 2010 and currently lives in the calm and peaceful Stockholm suburb Gröndal.

Two of the most promising young producers in their respective countries today—Korean artist Sima Kim and Japan's Ryuei Kotoge—teamed up earlier this summer to work on the shifty "Rêveur". On their own, both create shadowy electronic tracks that balance a sense of unease without sacrificing melody. "Rêveur" moves at a relaxed pace, and the producers sprinkle some Brainfeeder-worthy laser sounds over the groove. They also throw in some twists—channel-hopping sounds, intimidating bass squall, and vocal samples yelping away. Drazius is back on SATURATE! with his highly anticipated "Take Me Away" EP, featuring four bold, boundary-pushing tracks. Seamlessly blending diverse soundscapes while maintaining his unmistakable signature style, Drazius crafts an immersive sonic experience designed for trance-like ecstasy and full-throttle sound systems.

Opening this pack of dancefloor fillers with the energetic "Let It Roll," lush pads and eerie drones set the stage before giving way to a punchy bassline and infectious, swung drums—setting the perfect mood to kick off the EP. A certified head-bopper. Then, with "Concentrate," Drazius ups the intensity, going straight for the throat with progressive drum breaks building tension, culminating in a dark, twisted bassline that demands attention. This track's raw energy leaves no doubt, warranting an immediate stank face for anyone with a taste for bass.

"T.M.A.exe" follows, shifting gears but not slowing down the pace, with halftime beats and acid-tinged basslines. Drazius flips the script with masterful sound design and tastefully distorted blips and blops, creating a futuristic banger that’s hard to top.

This track is a hard act to follow, but dope's remix of "T.M.A.exe" closes out the EP, offering a fresh, minimalist take that reimagines the track's chaotic energy with precision and style, giving a different perspective to the already perfect song.

"Take Me Away" is an essential listen for anyone craving grit, bass, and an unapologetic sonic workout. Crank up the volume, strength-test your speakers—and maybe give your neighbors a heads-up first.
