@gonima has been on the SVNSET WAVES radar for 6 years now, so it is a true, true honor to finally present his new EP, Strands, with you all. The EP features four gorgeously intricate new original tracks from the Montreal-based producer, each fizzling and dissolving into a mesmerizingly complex yet comforting world. I can only imagine that this is what a computer's daydreams might sound like.
In addition to the four original tracks, each song has a coinciding remix. From @heoliene's hypnotizingly clicky minimalism, to @brakence's super-textural glitch pop, @jimkimchi's vast hyper-IDM complexion, and Permutia's (@fltx & @m_y_s_e_l_f) goofy illbient banger this EP truly has something in it for all the glitch heads.
In addition to its digital release, a limited edition cassette will also accompany the release. Be sure to stream the album, support the artists, and pick up a tape. Huge thanks to gonima for making this absolute treasure of a release and being patient through the tedious process, all of the remixers, who gave their beautiful minds and perspectives on these tracks, Jesse Osborne-Lanthier for the perfect artwork, and all of the listeners who chose to make memories with these songs.
