Ocean Lam has built and cultivated and driven her passion for music for over more than a decade, playing at many major festivals and underground clubs in Asia, Epizode, Wonderfruit, Intro, Equation and Clockenflap, Sonar HK and in Germany Melt and Feel Festival. She was tapped to represent Hong Kong at its first live edition of Boiler Room at Shi Fu Miz festival. Played in Berlin since 2010 and around Europe as her annual tour playing with many international artists and label nights. Curated line up at the first Sonar HK dome stage of local and international guests 

The uncontested regional opener for heavyweight names like Efdemin, Oskar Offermann, Nick Hoppner, Sammy Dee and many more…As an music director and co-founder of Social Room club for 6 years and brought lots of artists from Europe to her Hypnotic events in Hong Kong. Ocean is also a producer of her own music, with releases “Auditory Touch” EP on @moteurvillemusique (#Detroit) with Eduardo De La Calle, Jay Tripwire remixes, “ The Same Boat” EP with Fresh Funky S on Berlin Biotop Label, collaborated release with Mr Ho (Klasse Wrecks) on Underradar Label (Indonesia), HK Typhoon8 Records and her most recent release on WAPM Records

#svyatkipodcast 24 was recorded for us by Alexey Safonov - DJ Veerag (@djveerag), our old musical friend from the native shores of Vyatka. The owner of a unique collection of vinyl records of different musical styles from ambient to techno house. Alexey is a participant and organizer of the acclaimed music project BAD HOUSE MUSIC (Kirov/Vyatka).

He took an active part in the organization of parties in the city: Bream & Tick, Cancer Necks, Discobarons, Zanzibar.

He performed with musical sets in the most famous institutions of the city: Titanic, Checkpoint, TSO Pobeda, Smena, Vinyl, Colosseum, Dot, Marmalade, Black Cat, Progress Gallery, Oriental House, Pilot & Avitek, Puppet Theater.

Played on the same stage with DJ's: Magic B, Helga, Anton Kubikov, Max Grabke, DR Scissors, Mahorin, Izhevski, Agraba, etc.

At the moment, Alexey is a member of the musical project of the south of Russia "TAKTIKA ZVUKA". This is a creative platform that unites the musical activities of a team of professionals of the modern music scene.

We are glad to present his work to you in our podcast. We are grateful to him for his creative experience and great musical background.

All Inn Records are known for their fantastic label showcases. A highlight of the year took place in one of Moscow's most intimate of clubs; Rodnya. Set in a loft, on the top floor of a former industrial building, you can feel a special party vibe in the following mix, recorded and played by label co-manager, DJ and producer, Giovanni Verrina. Starting off nicely with an atmospheric mood, Verrina keeps the dance floor moving with his tech-house grooves. Classy vocals speak over low-key funky tones while in the deep end, pumping bass lines join forces with rapturous percussive elements. A journey that will take you places. From tribal to more delicate house and rather cryptic techno you’ll also find some really uplifting moments and beautiful melodies. You can really imagine it was a party to remember! It is our pleasure to welcome the man behind Archipel imprint PHEEK to the next MINIM Podcast Series. Not just another mix but a live performance by PHEEK featuring an up and coming artist ROOM323 that just had his 8 track debut album released on Archipel. ROOM323 is a minimal house / techno producer & DJ based in Tel Aviv and Milan.

About Pheek:
First taking interest as a sound enthusiast, Montreal's Jean-Patrice Remillard began exploring electronic music in earnest by the early 1990s, teaching himself how to produce and manipulate sounds with software and hardware. Noticed by Hautec Recordings in 1999, the local label released the 12” ERS 1-2-3, Pheek's minimal techno collaboration with Mateo Murphy. By 2002 Pheek had produced two critically acclaimed full-length albums and gained a prestigious reputation for his memorable live sets at Epsilonlab events.

With his music now turning heads overseas Pheek departed on his first European tour, visiting and performing in over fifteen countries. Meanwhile, releasing with German netlabel Thinner allowed Jean-Patrice to consort with a group of peers who could provide invaluable aid and assistance. Beginning to build on an international scale, Pheek now finds himself releasing amongst his idols for such renowned labels as Richie Hawtin's M_nus imprint, France's Telegraph, Denmark's Tic Tac Toe or Germany's Contexterrior, gaining particular recognition for the unique quality and texture of his sounds.

Nourished by his experiences and hoping to construct his own community of likeminded musicians, Pheek founded the Archipel netlabel in 2004. The immediate support and praise of media and clientele allowed Archipel to quickly achieve a key goal, releasing Pheek and Jesse Somfay's Galapagos Excursion Joint 1 as their first vinyl in early 2006. With his little family growing fast, Archipel has now launced the Kalimari sublabel, already at two releases. With Galapagos Excursion Joint becoming a favourite of Sven Vath (it appears on his next mix CD), and Kalimari's Mein Tesh included on Matthew Dear's Fabric 17 CD, Pheek's labels are now firmly ensconced in the international minimal techno and tech-house scene.

His live performances and recordings now in widespread demand, Pheek continues to pride himself on building, creating and developping… Art first.
