Let Love Be Your Guide, the first duo album by internationally renowned family musicians Dan + Claudia Zanes, is a collection of songs to spark intergenerational conversations about anti-racism, racial justice, and the joys of community. Conceived during the 2020 Black Lives Matter uprisings and coronavirus pandemic, the songs describe the new terms of togetherness – how we understand it, how we build it, and how we strive for more. Rooted in many different traditions, including gospel, R&B, and Haitian folk song, the eclectic, warm, and accessible music the duo makes reflects the kindness and openness that underpin their message: out of isolation and hardship we can learn how to accept and heal the wounds of the past, and how to change and face the future with grace and compassion, regardless of our age.

A tribute to my father Raymond Francis Hare, a 2nd world war veteran, he served in New Guinea as a DR despatch rider.
Voice overs were done in realtime Len Corten served as a coast watcher and told stories of Hill 60 patrolling.
Other voices are Tom Hare his brother who had some kind words.

Australian acoustic blues mastermind Lloyd Spiegel is delighted to announce the release of his 8th album ‘Backroads’ and is touring to back it up.

Backroads is a hard-edged, brutally honest account of Spiegel's life outside of music and reinvents his sound for new audiences, delivering more punch in his most powerful studio performance to date.  Lead track ‘The Kick Around’ sets the tone from the outset with just over 2 minutes of fuzz, searing lead breaks, seedy bars, and the potential for regret.

Says Spiegel of the new album "So much of what I've written in the past is focussed on where I'm going. Both literally and figuratively. I'm a driven person and never really paused to think about the sacrifices, what I've left behind till I sat for a moment and started writing."

"The plan to step outside of what people might expect from me, sound fresh and push harder made it feel like I had no boundaries placed on me and I had a sense of creative freedom with this one that I hadn't felt before. I hadn't really let loose with an electric guitar on record since I was a teenager.... it felt good."

Lloyd Spiegel has always forged his own path throughout his long career. Spending quite literally his whole life performing, Spiegel blends his grounding in the blues with storytelling and dazzling guitar technique to create a show and signature sound that is launching him onto festival and theatre stages around the globe as a true master of his craft. 

Along with Cole Clark guitars, Lloyd designed guitars specifically for the recording and a new duo show with drummer Tim Burnham promises to deliver his biggest stage sound yet.

Earth roots blues with an afro twist. Original music about life, family, nature and making the most of 'This Day'. 
Described as “having a voice carved from a tree” Damion has been branching out from being a percussionist. His song writing was triggered by a trip to the Amazon jungle in Ecuador where he worked with a Quechua Indian family helping to set up an environmental field study centre. He also scored a handmade Ecuadorian Cedar guitar which was a saving grace getting helping him through a 10 day stint in hospital due to a bacterial blood infection received in the jungle. 
My solo show is a mix of music playing kick, hi hat, guitar and the West African Djembe drum. The set is a diversity of tunes including my original songs and covers of tunes that resonate with me from artists like Josh White, Bob Dylan, Paul Kelly, Ben Caplan, Shane Howard, Johnny Cash and a score of old times delays blues and Gospel music.
20 years ago Damion was captured by the ernegy of West African drumming and has been hooked ever since learning rhythms and dances from Guinea and developing a keen interest in world fusion music, particularly the influence of traditional African music in genres like blues, funk and soul.
In October 2016 Swamp n Beats won the South Coast Showcase competition by popular vote and in September 2015 won the Wollongong Songs on Stage original music competition. 
Swamp n Beats have played at a number of festivals including Illawarra Folk Festival, Wallaby Creek Festival, Gulgong Folk Festival and Culburra Beach Festival. 
Ranging from solo gigs to a full 5 piece band Swamp n Beats are versatile and can play a range of venues and events.
