I really wanted my own touhou song.

So I started with an energetic intro from scratch, then I sang a few things until I got them right.

Then I carefully added them in.

The supporting melodies are two different instrument presets that use the same note patterns to strengthen the backup melody.

The loudest instrument in this piece is the whistle preset, which stood out from the backup melodies in order to carry the intro, the verses and the chorus.

It all started sometime ago when I decided to make an "arpeggio" intro.

Now, this wasn't my first attempt at making intros that start with fancy piano intros.

But what happened next was that I went into a tense atmosphere part and that was it.

Later on, I added some relatively lazy pitch-changing notes.

But I began going into a creative frenzy with the second half where I composed an exciting beat drop (I think) after I changed the pitch of the song into a relatively brief moment.

I then wrapped it up with another buildup to the pumped up version of the intro.

But I was stuck on whether or not I should have it loop around for too long before I eventually decided that the song was long enough as a standalone track.

I had Touhou brain when I started this track, the third jummbox song in this album.

Especially when I manually key changed the first verse.

But after the ideas for the song nagged me during my break, I added in the part that I kept singing, a "rap-ish" tense part that borrowed the note patterns from "Heart of a Hypocrite (From Heaven He Fell) and "Uncertainty" (Heavy Steps).

I was ready to call it done, but I knew that the lazy part that I left in felt unfinished, so I made another Touhou brain musical section.

I’ve generally had the idea to improve and extend one of my earliest songs, Disobedience from Retro Trials.

I also began experimenting with the dubstep instruments in JummBox.

Dreary Me EXTENDED

I made this for the Blue Moon Ball from Tumblr.

The song symbolized fireworks, but I didn’t get the pixel frame required for this track.

So here’s an oc (Madeline Rivera) doing some magic.

As for the song itself, I started this piece Waay back in high school as a playable piece, where it garnered the attention of at least one person.

It reminded them of something magical.

Anyways, last month I decided to finish it once and for all.

Believe it or not, I revamped Feisty with the sole purpose to make it sound like Pokemon XY themes.

It took me a loong time and a lot of fine tuning to get it relatively right.
