Musically, it was quite a year. Did anything else happen? Besides playing myself, I spent a lot of time on SoundCloud, listening to others. Here is a small selection of favourites I kept returning to - on repeat of course - during the last year. - The last piece is a kind of bonus track, it was with me most of the previous year, too. "Chill out" is an understatement for this one. It's a proper piece for travelling. - Have a good 2019, you all! - Onwards!

Liar is the real rock bottom of the EP. You look back on the nightmare that you thought was a dream and can’t fathom why you put yourself through that. How could I give so much of myself and accept so little in return. While trying to save someone else you lost yourself in the process.

Welcome! If you stick around a bit, you'll find some sketchy sketches of a looping guitarist, interested in minimal music, jazz, fusion etc.
 
I wish I would have thought of saying the following about me, but it was Robert Fripp, and he seems to have had himself in mind: “Music so wishes to be heard that it sometimes calls on unlikely characters to give it voice.”

Oh, and you might wonder why I call my sketches "meta-music". Well, since I am always inspired by others,  I think of my improvisations as music *about other music*, thus meta-music.
