i cant believe i made music, dialogue AND lore for this big shitpost
 
so i was chilling in Don't Forget two days ago when i made this little challenge for the players, to tell the longest, crappiest au combo they can think of, then tell it to me so i can explain the au, make lore and recongnize which role is which, one of these people asked me to explain the au "Dustouterswapfellstorylustshiftbelief" which i did explain it, but it gave me an idea for a shitpost.

let me explain the lore for some aus told there so this can make sense

Dustouterswapfell: 
basically, aliens abduct Papyrus and give him something inside a syringe which made him insane and seek for power, then he went to earth to steal the souls. now, that combined with the unknown substance, he turns into a beast bigger than earth and seeks to eat and destroy it. 

Dustouterswapfellshift:
Frisk ends up killing the big beast but after doing so they were sealed underground, now they took the role of sans

Dustouterswapfellshiftlust: 
Same as the last lore told, but frisk is banished to the underground with a new form (or just a woman's form) now they go insane because of everything that happened

Dustouterswapfellshiftlustshift: 
Alphys was hidden as an amalgamate in the True Lab all along, now shes fused with every single one of the amalagamates, she and the others have entered the stage of eternal hunger and pain, so she- well, "it" has consumed frisk, now seeks to end this endless hunger and pain.

Dustouterswapfellshiftlustbelief (will make a shitpost song for it soon.)
same as the last one, but this time, undyne consumes alphys and the others now it wants the same thing as the last "it" mentioned wanted.

We've made it to the end, at last! 128 songs as part of the main soundtrack, a few extra tracks... a lot's been made for this.
This, however, is NOT the end for Monster Mix as a whole.

People have been wondering if I plan to expand upon this AU in any way beyond the music and art I've made for it, and I'm happy to announce that I have some plans in store! I'd love to outright promise a sprite comic from the get-go, but there's a lot that goes into that.

This also won't be happening for a little while! I've got a lot I'm working on as is (including making sure I get through college), and writing takes quite a bit of time too. So rather than starting with a sprite comic, I plan to make a write-up that covers the Ruins and a few parts of Snowdin. This'll be used to gather some feedback, and to gauge how engaged people are with the story that's being told. 

I should also mention, just to manage expectations a bit: I have no intentions of this becoming a fangame, and I would like to ask that people not make this into their own fully-fledged fangames, either. The amount of work that would go into this would be far too much right now.

There IS one thing I intend to release within a few weeks: a document that compiles everything that's currently been revealed, as well as maybe addressing some of the things I never ended up going over that I would be okay with revealing ahead of time, even with the idea that this eventually becomes a sprite comic. (This means that no, I will not be revealing what happens to Chara.)

Take this as an opportunity to ask me some questions about things I may not have even thought about! While I can't make any promises as to whether I'll answer everything (either due to wanting to keep it a surprise or because I simply do not know yet), I'll still do my best to answer what I can.
(Also, don't worry about asking any questions you or others may have already asked in the Q&A I announced on YouTube a little while ago, anything asked for that will still be answered there if I had an answer for it to begin with.)

This account will likely be used for future updates to songs sometime further down the line, as well as some fun bonus content like scrapped songs or... literally bonus content that handle fun what-if scenarios that allow me to ignore the canon for a bit.
