Woke Up A Rager (Prod. Bennyy & Demeanor)

This project is a collection of tracks from NC-based producers that is meant to touch on themes of inclusivity, relationships, skate culture, individuality, and most importantly, how most cultures and niche groups, like skaters, are no longer made up of just locals. Considering how I am a "local" Raleigh, NC skater, yet I spent most of my life living an hour away from here, it is funny to see how our skate scene has adapted and grown. From seeing the same faces every day to seeing new ones each time I go to the park, the skate scene here is no longer just locals. This project touches on the idea of established members of communities being close-minded at times and not willing to accept change. I also rap about a bunch of other crap.

Hey guys -- this is a track I got from @drewwardtheproducer and honestly I cannot have been more excited to play over this track. 

It took months for me to finally be at a place where I could record over it; it was totally worth the wait. Drew makes some amazing hip-hop beats and I've got good feelings for the future collabs as well.
