Had the absolute privilege of producing a mix for my party, Shandy, and being featured alongside some of Australia's leading queer parties: Homopolitan, Throb, and Control. Together we were broadcast across Australia as part of Triple J's Mardi Gras Mix Up special. 

In developing this mix, I wanted to serve up the quintessential Shandy mix, with touches of silliness, camp dance pop classics, house bangers, and lots of queer and femme produced/focused tracks - even featuring a track from Meanjin queer music pioneer, Jandy Rainbow.

Early Morning Rager

Sweaty Baby (aka Thomas Parer) is a DJ/creative producer/party captain passionate about creating inclusive spaces which foster connection and achieving liberation via the medium of sweaty, passionate dancing. 

In early 2019, he founded ‘Shandy’, a monthly queer dance party in Meanjin (Brisbane), and is inspired by an eclectic mix of genres, with a soft spot for disco, house, pop, and hip hop.
