This is Ponty Mython's first appearance on the Swedish Brandy Productions label. Expect a wicked four tracker of  dirty lo-fi sounding deep house grooves packed with samples and sturdy analogue bass lines. Vilnius based Dj and producer Aleksandr Pletnev aka Ponty Mython is known for his many outstanding releases on labels such as Tusk Wax, No More Hits, Dirt Crew, Quintessentials and many more. Besides spittin' out goodies on a regular basis Ponty Mython runs his own imprint Beats Delivery releasing the most interesting artists and producers from Russia. 

The title track “I Wish” starts of the EP with it's deep and fumy organ chords combined with filtered hats, clever vocal samples and harsh bass lines. Next up on the A side you will find the pumping head nodder “Holly FM”. Swinging hats, guitar stabs, smooth pads with simple but very effective hook on top. The B side starts off with the slightly minimal track “Keep On Using Me” (Brother). This one with grim beats, organ pads, off beats punching in and out as the track steady builds with a rock solid perfectly tweaked bass. The last minutes on the B side is reserved for the dreamy yet hard hitting and raw gem “New Toys”. Pure basement love.

Stockholm-based imprint Swedish Brandy Productions serves up a pair of sultry house numbers with a remix from Berger & Young. 

Having released on the likes of Compost, Freerange, Delusions Of Grandeur, Room With A View, FINA and Eskimo, Roberto Rodriguez has indisputably earned his stripes as a go to producer for quality house productions when not running his own imprint Serenades. Similarly, Swedish Brandy Productions has cemented itself as a quality platform for artists of deep and soulful aesthetics, hosting the likes of Ponty Mython, YSE and Eric Ericksson to name a few. 

Stuttering synths and infectious clicks set the ball rolling in ‘Broken’ before a bouncy bass line, syncopated chord progressions and pumping pads engineer a killer groove. Meanwhile, energetic organ stabs and a vigorous sub bass construct ‘Be Yourself’ whilst it evolves with layers of catchy hooks and soulful vocal chops, gloomy atmospheres and distant choirs. 

Label founder Lars Berger then pairs up with producer David Young aka Young David for a stellar remix boasting an array of strings, synth hooks and keys that steadily build above its sturdy chugging bassline and crisp pounding beats.

One of Detroit's best kept secrets, Rick Wade has been producing late night tracks and tapping into the essence of deepness since the '90's. Known for their universal appeal and appearing on over 20 different labels worldwide, soulful, timeless grooves are his signature. Growing up in Buchanan MI, 1 hour outside of Chicago he was influenced by Chicago radio station WBMX and the Salsoul material and local stations that played the likes of Al Green and Isaac Hayes. In 1993 Rick and Dan Bell started Harmonie Park to release house material and in 1995 Rick started another label Bass Force primarily as an outlet for the Booty / Bass material that he records under the 'Big Daddy Rick' moniker. 

This time Rick brings us “The Depth Charge EP”, three tracks of lavish organic deepness, with jazzy Rhodes-chords, strings, trumpets, warm lush big sounding pads, combined with soulful vocal samples and crisp beats. London's Westlake72 contributes with a stunning remix of “Be There”, injecting a fierce disco groove and vibe.

A stalwart of the UK underground & dance music scene, Simbad's music and dj skills have brought him to perform and record on all of the continents over the last decade. As a very sought after producer that still collaborates with the likes of Fred P, Deetron, Roots Manuva, Lulu James, Dayme Arocena, Mala (DMZ), Gilles Peterson (six albums produced for Gilles legendary Brownswood label) to name a few, he's been  also remixing for countless other artists worldwide and has a vast array of releases on various imprints like Apron, Hyperdub, Sofrito, BBE etc.
 
”Reconnect" remained a dubplate amongst a handful broken beat dj’s for years until Simbad decided to release it on Swedish Brandy Productions, a label that has been fairly constant in putting out timeless  underground dance music since nearly two decades. Remixes by the mighty Boddhi Sattva and ConceptE25 included.

Since the late 1990s, Greg and Shane's production work under the Fish Go Deep name has travelled far and wide. After an early Series of EPs on New Jersey's seminal i! Records, more than fifty releases have followed on labels as  influential and diverse as Innervisions, Local Talk, Freerange, Nite Grooves, Large Music and Om Records.
 
In late 2005 their own Go Deep imprint got off to a flying start when the first release, The Cure and the Cause, with vocalist Tracey K, was licensed by UK house giant, Defected, and became a huge club and chart hit. Since then they have released more than two dozen EPs on Go Deep, Ork and other labels and have remixed a wide variety of house  luminaries  -  Kerri Chandler, Alton Miller, Audio Soul Project, Charles Webster and Jamie Anderson feat. K-Alexi, among others.
 
In 2012 the duo released their second album, Draw The Line, to widespread acclaim and worldwide radio and club support. So Far So
Deep Volume One, a compilation of Fish Go Deep productions and remixes, followed in 2014 and further releases and remixes have
appeared on labels such as Freerange and Atjazz Music Company in recent years. In 2017, their Large Music release,  Baby Tell Me,
finished the year as one of the top ten deep house sellers on the influential Traxsource download store. Releases scheduled for
2018 include EPs for Nite Grooves, Seasons, Large and Swedish Brandy Productions.

One of Stockholms finest beatmakers presents a massive four tracker of deep house under his Carl Borg pseudonym. 

Carl started making electronic music at the age of 14. He found his way into house music after buying an Yamaha A3000 sampler, sampling through his friends and parents vinyl collections. In 2004 he started to tour through Europe, South Africa and Russia together with Forss (Eric Wahlforss) as Forss Versus Borg. Playing live-sets consisting of both up-tempo house tracks and experimental glitchy electronica. Carls debut release, the classic 12 inch Splinter Body Scene EP, was released on German label Sonar Kollektiv during that same time. Since then he has released several EPs, remixes and produced a number of original soundtracks throughout the years.

Carl played an important part of the band project S.F.B. (Stoner, Forss, Borg), a fusion of acoustic jazz and live electronica, in 2006. The project resulted in the album “The Lektor Tapes” on Gothenburg based label Hoob Records.

Inside Switch EP is Carls follow-up to recently released Hidden Focus EP on Swedish Brandy Productions. The opening track ”Inside Switch” is an uplifting 90s house trip with dubby soul vocals, lush synth chords and a solid Moog-driven bass line. The follow-up ”Concordia” is a deeper Detroit-influenced track, with an irresistible rolling bass line and large jazzy rhodes chords. 

On the flip side, ”The Serious Game” is a perfect dance floor heater. A bouncy club track with sampled strings, massive piano stabs and wild dubbed out build-ups. The EP rounds off with ”Just Promises”, a techy groover with hypnotic organ stabs, warm string pads and a vintage-sounding vocal hook on top.

Inside Switch EP is Carls first 12 inch release on Swedish Brandy Productions.
