Pük and Oward share a split EP for the next release of Wellness Records.

The Leipzig based label have shaped a refreshing aesthetic via their first three releases, presenting dubby shades of fruitful and lively house music. Early cuts from rising talents Matpri and Rubisco artist Mbius set the scene with a number of elegant, stripped back cuts exploring clean and healthy sounding moods.

Leeds based producer Pük continues the holistic aesthetic in his two contributions 'Double E' and 'Get Well Soon'. The shift towards a more conscious and wellbeing is a growing trend throughout club culture. Inspiring a movement towards more prudent motives within both sound and aesthetic, the fruity sounds of 'Double E' showcases this fruity theme to a tee in the featured premiere. YOYAKU007 is the first collaboration between Janeret and DJOKO. The two artists’ encounter with each other’s productions marked the beginning of a strong musical connection.

Over the years, this musical connection was found humanly giving birth to mutualized sessions in studio. This synergy between Paris and Cologne pushed the two artists to collaborate on a bigger common project.

More than a simple featuring, the two composers wished to mix their musical identity, pushing this collaboration until the fusion of their artistic identity: JANEKO.

I wrote ‘Joy’ as an expression of gratitude to the people I love; my girlfriend, family, and friends. They’ve been by my side through the coldest and darkest moments; through my grief. My last single, ‘Better days’ represented the transition out of winter into spring. ‘Joy’ represents the summer, a time to share happiness with the people I care about the most. They are my Joy.

For our fourth mix, we cast our line to the west coast with Perth's rave angel Cooper Cooper. This mix is a beautiful unfolding of what they do best: minimal layers of hooks that slowly build, tracks that flow into each other like waves, an incredibly patient and flawless approach to mixing, and highlighting beauty of the classic house vocal. Through their DJing and event organising, they've been creating space for queer and trans people in the Perth underground scene for years now, as well as proving themselves as a DJ based off their talent alone. Recording number three comes from back in early June, when resident DJ Physical Therapy got things going before DJ Lag and Total Freedom turned the place upside down and inside out.

The importance of the opening slot in the arc of a good party is often overlooked but like the pro that he is, the Allergy Season boss veered toward the outer edges of his record collection for tempos, textures and grooves that would set the stage for what was coming afterward.

The result is a warm, thoughtfully strung together mix of soupy digi-dub, street-wise downtempo dnb and sprightly, colorful dancehall. Big love to Daniel for being down with us putting this out and to everyone who comes down early and stays late.
