WeGotHouse@Home Vol. 1

A few weeks ago, I went over to Philly to see Kraftwerk on tour for the 50th anniversary of their album "Autobahn," a genre defying electronic album decades ahead of the glitter pop rock music of it's time. It was moody, synthy, techno dance music and they were dressed like neon robots straight out of Tron.

From this, I felt inspired to go see what else the Euros had contributed to my collection and, low and behold, they're not too shabby. So, I present to you, 'WeGotHouse@Home Vol. 2: Haus Musik' and brief look at Euro produced house/dance that I currently own. Featuring alleged #1 UK dance hits and probably, mostly things you haven't heard. It wouldn't be complete, however, if I didn't do like Kraftwerk and give a much needed shoutout to Detroit, a massive electronic hub, featured in the track 'Numbers' by K-Hand from her 1995 "On A Journey," which in my humble opinion, along with the track 'Computer' are nods to Kraftwerk.
