The story is the experience of the two young men siblings Gary and Gareth Natividad aged 13 and 15 years old live in Mampang. They are the relatives of my brother’s wife. I interviewed them and got their story when they moved in here in our place.

It is about the incidents happened in their vicinity: the fire which almost burned their house and the crossfire encounter between the soldiers and Misuari’s factions happened last Sept. 16, 2013 which put their lives into danger. As they ran, they were thinking that they would be shot and could not escape the situation anymore. Hopeless and frightened dominates their feelings since their uncle also named Nonito Estrada was being hostage by the MNLF on the night of September 13. Here they are now, hoping for a new tomorrow that everything would be all right and it would never hapened again. A story that is full of melancholic incidents that even though it's not that easy for them to forget what had happened, they still very thankful to God that they're okay and they will face a new beginning all together.

P.S. I only interviewed Gary since Gareth already went back to their home in Mampang and only Gary stayed for a while here in our place. I can't go on interwiewing the two of them because my brother won't let me to go to their place for it's still on clearing operation.
