As you will hear, this is inspired by old school electro pop and in particular on this track ‘The Human League’. Listening to Human League, Gary Numan and Kraftwerk back in 1979 gave me a feeling of excitement and a kind of rush that I hadn't experienced with music until then.  I've been in love with electronic music ever since. 1979 was the year I truly found music, or did music find me? 

I wanted to create some typically electro downbeat lyrics for this track, but still have a bit of a toe-tapping feel to the music. Working with Richard we found a pattern from his trusty Alesis Micron and we created the track from there.  The "Do or Die" section is a recent brainwave addition (idea taken from the track on Human League's 1981 Dare album). 

The track itself is about the dangers of lack of privacy and encroachment on our freedom, whether that be on the internet or from dictatorships, government control etc.  Freedom brings happiness, loss of freedom is an ever growing danger.
