When Brazilian producer Althoff and Argentine artist Marvio first crossed paths in Barcelona three years ago, neither imagined that their friendship would evolve into a creative partnership. The duo’s shared studio sessions and mutual passion for deep, emotive electronic music have culminated in 'Disorder EP'.

Between them, Marvio and Althoff boast an impressive pedigree. Marvio, founder of the Argentinian label collective Amancay, has performed at Kater Blau, Pacha Barcelona, Crobar Buenos Aires and Mia Tulum, while earning support from Dixon, Âme and John Digweed. Althoff, whose refined productions have graced labels such as Stil vor Talent, Borders of Light and Multinotes, is celebrated for his fusion of organic rhythms and melodic tension, with backing from Solomun, Adriatique and Toto Chiavetta.

Across 'Disorder EP', the pair blend house grooves and melodic textures into a sound that feels both raw and sophisticated. The title track leads the charge, hypnotic and high-tempo, before Turkish producer Alican, steps in to deliver a sleek and powerful remix. The rest of 'Disorder EP' isn’t just a meeting of sounds, it’s the result of friendship, shared vision and countless nights of exploration. A musical dialogue between Brazil, Argentina and Barcelona’s ever-evolving scene.

“Don’t Fight EP is all about groove-driven energy and organic textures. I wanted to make it fun; playful music built around samples that tell a bunch of little stories on the dancefloor. I wanted each track to feel alive; ‘Don’t Fight’ with its powerful drums, ‘Tulips’ with its sexy vocals, ‘Yo Quiero’ and its mental synthesis work, and the cherry on top collaboration with Adana Twins ‘Turn Around’ that makes you travel in time. There’s a sense of spontaneity throughout, like capturing a moment that wasn’t planned but just felt right. I’ve been digging deep into sample work lately—reshaping sounds until they become something unexpected. Gorge, aka Pit Waldmann's musical journey is the story of a lifetime. From his teenage years as a pop drummer, to his vibrant DJ career, to his role as one of the most revered producers in the electronic scene, Gorge has always been hooked on the beat. "I grew up surrounded with a mix of trance, techno, house and hip-hop," he says. "It gave me a very open mind."
His attitude and openness has fuelled a thriving career as DJ, producer, and co-owner, with Nick Curly, of 8bit Records. Gorge sees no reason to compartmentalise his music, or himself. As a young DJ in Mannheim, he combined working five days a week as a paramedic with playing in the city's thriving club scene. "In the '90s clubs were open every day of the week," he recalls with a laugh. "I was going to study medicine but the music infected me." 
Eventually Gorge gave up work as a paramedic to focus on music. He began releasing records in the early '00s, experimenting with deep sounds. In 2005 he and musical comrade Nick Curly founded 8bit Records, which became one of the standout labels of forward thinking electronica. It pioneered minimal in its early years, before evolving into a deeper, groovier sound. "That's when the real hype began," Gorge says.
Once it started, the hype never stopped. Gorge pushes his sound and builds his reputation with every release, every gig. "I'm not a DJ who plays the obvious tracks with the big breakdowns," he notes. "I show people you can have a good time with hypnotic, groovy stuff. Every night is different, but I always want to create an atmosphere in the club."
His passion for finding the perfect sound is what drives Gorge's prolific production schedule. Digital tools have streamlined his superb production skills (he is an in-demand producer and remixer for other artists). "Now it doesn't take six hours to set up a sequencer, I can make a track in a few hours," he grins. Needless to say, his studio is hub for a network of electronic artists. Nick Curly is a frequent collaborator, as is Markus Homm. The duo spends days in the studio, making music, browsing Gorge's sample library, playing with technology, and cooking. "Thai, Indian, vegetarian, I love it all," he says. "Whenever I'm travelling I eat the regional food. I always want to find something original to the place."
This passion for authenticity and originality is what drives his career and creative work. Whether spinning platters or filling plates, Gorge is as an artist in love with the rhythm of life.

Luca does regular DJ sets in the city's premium bars & pubs, known for his progressive sounds used in his sets. He has been released on World of Media, Firstplanet and Matrix Music Records. We are glad to have such an entity on the label and wish to see him yet again.

The title track 'Ninfea' runs along a sensational drumcode which is supported by infectious percussions and a deep bassline which evolves and carves its way out further on. A dark arp and synth stab paint the whole air dark and keeps things interesting as it rolls down to breakdown where the pads and dark sounds ensure the relaunch in a perfect manner introducing one ingenious back lead. A perfect one for any late-night set! 

'Medea' on the other hand with a deliberate intention transports us into the pure melodic world of progressive house. Majestic groove equipped with thumpy kick and dynamic percussions it produces that captivating bassline which keeps the track full of zeal till the very end.
