The Big E is western MA's annual fall festival and fair. There's something for everybody there: rides, a petting zoo, competitions, music and the Avenue of States, paying homage to the best of six states!  I wrote a song about it called "Ode to the Big E"

Ode to the Big E

The public is invited to observe sunrise and sunset associated with the day of the autumnal equinox among the standing stones of the UMass Amherst Sunwheel on Monday, September 22 at 6:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. These events mark the astronomical change of seasons when days and nights are nearly equal in length in the Northern Hemisphere.   I wrote a song about it in the Cybernetic Fusion™ style: ancestral traditions carried into new electronic environments, layered with percussion and rhythmic ideas drawn from science, philosophy, and mathematics.

UMass Sunwheel

Crowds come out to enjoy first day of the 166th annual Belchertown fair.  I wrote a song about it.

Belchertown Fair

More than 150 Northampton residents packed the city council meeting Thursday night in support of the resolution to divest city funds from companies complicit in human rights violations, citing the need for local action in ending the US-backed Israeli genocide.  I wrote a song about it in the Cybernetic Fusion™ style, blending ancestral Palestininan music with electronic rhythms and sounds, creating a future-born dance tradition.

In Northampton's heart, where people rise,
A hundred and fifty voices under open skies.
They packed the hall, their hearts aligned,
To right the wrongs, to free the mind.

Northampton's Heart

As you know, I'm fascinated with Quantum Technology.  I read a study about a breakthrough that enables room-temperature quantum coherence.  I immediately started working on the lyrics.  I wanted to write a cybernetic fusion song, ancestral melodies and ancient humanoid sounds mixed with electronic rave beats and experimental synthetic sounds.  I had the perfect singer in mind to collaborate on the vocal.  The rest was just tracks and the mixdown went smoothly.

Ancient humans  walked from Turkey to Europe over now-submerged land Archaeologists uncovered 138 stone tools, including Levallois flake tools and handaxes, along the northeastern Aegean coast.  Fascinating!  I wrote a song about it called "Vital Land Bridge" in the Cybernetic Fusion™  style: ancestral Turkish melodies and ancient humanoid sounds mixed with electronic rave, deep drop, africano percussion

Vital Land Bridge

Maeror Cordis (Sorrow of the Heart) is a journey where ancient and future sounds entwine. Written for solo violin and digital soundscape, it weaves Romani fire and Celtic memory into a cybernetic frame-ancestral voices reimagined through circuitry and pulse.  The violin carries the lament, raw and human, while the DAW surrounds it with shifting electronic textures-echoes of grief, resilience, and transformation. Maeror Cordis is both intimate and expansive, an elegy for the heart and a vision of what music becomes when tradition meets the machine.

Ambient trance with spacey, ethereal synthesizers, lush atmospheric pads, a pulsing 120–140 BPM rhythm, and deep, resonant basslines. It should feel immersive, hypnotic, and cinematic, with smooth, soaring melodies that evoke a cosmic, otherworldly vibe, avoiding any harsh or abrasive "itchy, scratchy" textures.




Ethereal Vortex

Recently I was asked to write a soft, emotional Chinese pop ballad in the style of Mao Buyi.  Not familiar with the singer myself, I listened to a few of his top songs to get a sense of the structure.  Got some help from my wife who is fluent in Mandarin for the lyrics, and put this together.  Hope you like it.
