A trip around the world with the next Madorasindahouse release, by Jalal Ramdani, Nicolas Sasson, and Daniel Rateuke, presenting Las Voces. Taking a break from a heavy touring schedule which includes appearances in the hottest places of the globe, on the side of names like Who Made Who and Blondish, Nicolas collaborates with Jalal Ramdani, the up and coming talent who has already gained the support of Keinemusik and Black Coffee to name a few. 

The duo uses a distinct vocal sample, combining it with afro percussions, creating a heavy dancefloor groover. Daniel on remix duties needs no further introduction: we first welcomed him to the Madorasindahouse family with Gold, the unforgettable collaboration with AWEN, while in the meantime he has topped the sales charts with many of his productions. For this remix, he decides to transform the original to a more club-friendly version with a heavy bassline, messing around with the vocal sample, and delivering another remarkable Rateuke production.

It's been quite some time since we heard a new AWEN tune, but you can expect a few interesting things coming up in the next couple of months…like an album for instance!

We couldn't wait till the album release, so we had to heat things up with this first single called Unstoppable.

An homage to the Black Lives Matter movement, AWEN's Unstoppable is a momentous rally cry that entrances listeners for nearly six minutes. Through this song, AWEN creates a compelling story about the inevitability of progress through persistence. Her lyrics center on continued resistance, and her melody is a perfect metaphor for her words, evolving every second with simple repeating elements. Unstoppable is created in collaboration with Candy Man, an emerging House and Afrotech producer from Pretoria, South Africa. 

The original version is accompanied by two remixes; A version by Daniel Rateuke - who needs no introduction - delivering his own clubbier vision of the track, and a downtempo remix created by Cehashi - who collaborated with Awen on the artistic direction of her album.

Rising talents Le Croque and atsou join forces to debut on Cacao with an absolute banger.

The title track is driven along by a hefty bassline throb, atmospheric pads and beautiful piano chords that compliment the lush vocals from the amazing Bobbi Fallon Smith that transmit an unbroken declaration of freedom throughout this interpretation.

On remix duties, Daniel Rateuke presents a version that focuses around a simple, yet infectious synth arpeggiation. Heavy drum hits kick the track off in tandem. A very outstanding remix, ready to hit the dancefloor.

Panamanian talents Carlos Barbero and Kimao, provide one excellent remix, a more deep and atmospheric vibe that gallops along at a decent pace from the drum elements and heavy synth stabs that builds a solid groove foundation. Spacious and hypnotic ride, a great collage of deep vibes.

Dutch comrades Esteble are a duo of producers who remain impossible to categorize. The longtime friends and roommates share an innate sense of groove and melody, utilizing a diverse range of influences bred from their true musicianship. Whether jamming acoustically or producing surging electronic arrangements, Joep and Bram have proven their ability to capture the attention of dance music’s tastemakers time and time again.

The Rotterdam-base pair have appeared on behemoths such as Diynamic, Anjunadeep, Stil vor Talent. XYZ fans will be familiar with their eclectic remixes for Hosini and Budakid, as well as their recent work with Behrouz’s Do Not Sit. To round out the project, Esteble pick up the pace with Vanuatu. A sturdy kick is complemented with swirling melodies. The progressive arrangement rises from the get-go, culminating in a deep and ominous moment. Brimming with a surging bassline, Vanuatu is most club-oriented of the bunch.
