The man behind it is the US-born, Taiwan-based producer William Trilogy, who made his Culprit debut on the last Above the City compilation back in 2021. On this package, ‘Together’ gets the royal remix treatment from new-school names of the moment and chart topping artists Martina Budde from Germany and Sunana from the UK. The Italian techno aficionado explores innovative and industrial territory with this three tracker, experimenting with his machines to create various strains of sound for the peak hours of the night, full of character and energy. This is the "Y" EP. EP opener "Y1" has a hazy mood from the get go, an enormous kick drives, vocal samples flash in and out, opening up the six minute trip into trippy territory. "Y2" packs a serious punch, but still keeps some playfulness at its heart. Ready to ignite the floors of concrete jungles around the world. Rounding off this raw and rugged package, Mattia serves up "Y3", a thumping encounter, teasing you down a path of curiosity, deep into the night. Three tracks you can get lost too. Music with ♥ // Winner MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest 2003. After a break of almost 7 years, Michael Dietze got back on the decks in the summer of 2016. While he was known to everyone in the 90s and the first half of the 2000s as "Ditte", who made a name for himself with minimal / techno sets not only in Germany, he acquired another style in the Crewe club Molen_Dyk (2003-2006) . He managed to inspire people with Deephouse and Melodic Deep Tech. He has perfected that to this day. Like hardly anyone else, he is able to always incorporate that certain something into his sets. You can tell from the brilliant mixing and track selection that there are almost 30 years of experience behind the decks. He makes music with his heart for the hearts and souls that he captures with “age-appropriate techno”. In 2003 he deservedly won the MDR Sputnik Turntable Days DJ Contest in front of 49 other DJs.
