obviouslydan is an electronica producer based in Glasgow, Scotland. His sound is driven by a melodic emotive pallet and is inspired by the likes of Four Tet, Bonobo, Jacques Greene, il:lo and others
Originally from the Highlands, Dan has spent most of his life playing multiple instruments in a more traditional sense but in the last 4 years has found his footing in producing electronic music. He works with Ableton in his home studio, with his main focus being on evoking emotion, always aiming to have an edge of euphoria or warmth to his productions. With support from BBC Introducing, obviouslydan’s future looks bright with a great year ahead!
