Style Of My Own

Born in Bacolod City, Philippines and currently residing in Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines. I'm a music producer/songwriter. Although I have never studied music formally nor am I studying it by myself until now, I've always had a passion for music listening to it for hours. Producing and songwriting is something that I just got into for years. I knew about Timbaland, Scott Storch, The Neptunes and other top producers to mention when they started getting public recognition way back and that’s when my interest in music production grew. It wasn't until November of year 2005 though, when these guys and other world-known producers was blazing up the charts when I was motivated to test my creativity and try to create my own music. For 2 years, I began to experiment with programs like FL Studio and Adobe Audition. As I continued to learn everything I could about the software and sounds I had. I started to make my own personal remixes and remakes to songs by major artists for fun. I never formally learned how to play other instruments aside from a guitar, but I always had a strong interest in drums and piano. As to this day when I create a song, I create it by ear. At the beginning of 2007, I decided to try to make an original song instead of remixes and remakes.

Currently I’m on producing local artists (http://soundcloud.com/swenexxxbeatz) and my crew Coi Boyz Music (http://soundcloud.com/coiboyzmusic) trying to generate a buzz. I still have a lot to learn and I’m willing to learn and do whatever it takes to reach my goals. I hope in the near future my work will be recognized and that will open doors for me to work with many other artists, songwriters, and producers.
