so here's an update: i'm working on a valentine's day upload and some other uploads, including an actual, proper cover of Mademoiselle Noir: A Tragedy. 
here's another update: my life is full of Big Decisions About The Future™ and i've been rlly rlly stressed about that. also i've just been unmotivated to sing anything (which is weird since all i rlly do is sing so??????)

ok but im actually kinda ok w/ this recording, so with a lil more vocal touch ups, some harmonies, etc., i might actually post this as a full fledged cover on my youtube at some point. anyway, that's p much all i have to say. now excuse me while i go watch some more kitchen nightmares.

I finally sang a Yunosuke song!

This one is still my favorite of all his stuff and after rachie, anthong, and kura covered it, I obviously had to as well. It was also really helpful to be able to get their lyrics and especially their harmonies and not have to figure those out alone. Like, these harmonies are wild for real. I feel delirious from having to deal with so many layers of tracks but hopefully it was worth it. I’m a one man trio.

Also, I decided to overlay the original video with a fan created video so that’s what’s up with that. I made it so quickly my eyes hurt.

So this song is the theme for this year’s Magical Mirai which also happens to be Kagamine Rin and Len’s 10th anniversary! And they made the right choice getting Giga-P to compose the song, he truly is the queen of sassy bops. It’s been so long since he did vocaloid and he absolutely KILLED it with this one! Now if he could just release another album, I’d probably go ahead and retire to my coffin and wait for jesus to take me tbh.

 But anyway, I really wish I could’ve done this song more justice. I feel like even if I gave my blood for it, there’s no way I could reach Giga level. And yes, I did a self-duet because I hate myself and love recording 500 harmonies and ad-libs alone. So this cover barely made it out alive, I’m sure there are more skilled people that will have an easier time with this. Until then, here’s my attempt!

I have a growing collection of nekobolo covers. Should I be concerned?

This year has been harsh, probably the worst year of my life so far.
Admittedly, trying to just make it through each hour gets exhausting.
It's kind of amazing how life can continue on despite it all though.
I hope I can look back on this time someday and be glad I pushed on.

Finally I can put out something again!
It’s been difficult to juggle everything that’s been happening lately tbh.

It’s been very isolating during this pandemic so it’s been nice to interact with people again. Though, I’ve always been isolated even before all this lol. 

Anyway, this is one of my favorite classic vocaloid songs that I used to listen to every day in high school. Especially Ito Kashitaro’s classical cover, he just sounds so emotional and it still resonates with me. Maybe now more than ever. Getting a job and entering the proffessional world has always terrfied me but this song helps me a feel a little less alone.
