Rumble’s debut PHiZiCAL release was conceived in front of the legendary Sinai Soundsystem after he moved to Brighton in 2022. Inspired by the good vibes booming across the dancefloor, Rumble created the skull-cracking snares and deep, juggling basslines of King Dub when he got home later that night to capture the groovy, wobble-infused positivity that the Sinai Soundsystem had been unleashing.
Hum pays equal homage to the roots of the scene while remaining forefront in its execution, opening the show with a sermon on the history of dubplates from David Rodigan before rolling face-first into uppercutting sub bass, cantankerous snares and a kaleidoscope of delayed, time-shifting laughter.
