Funky Feelin doesn’t mess around as it kicks off with a catchy vocal hook that enforces the rhythm and flow of the track, then from nowhere, a huge, raw, powerful bassline that gives the track such an aggressive force and drive that creates an insane full production. It’s clear that Versus has found their iconic sound in their productions and this one is a prime example of that.

Creep, as true to its name, has a powerful sub-bass creeping up alongside their iconic bass sound that crawls into the back of your brain whilst the smooth slow-talking female vocal stalks your mind as it tries to pinpoint where in the world you are. With the thrills of the horn risers and piercing synth pads, this original will leave you on the edge of your seat in every fill/breakdown and euphoric in the main structures.

Newcomer Ben Ikin takes a wild spin on Funky Feeling giving the remix a higher rounded plucky bassline, injecting an extra shuffled rhythm and groove to it. The breakdown has a darker resonance and feeling, transforming the ‘funky feelin’ into a diverse feeling remix.

Revlow takes Funky Feelin and creates a powerful low-toned remix that causes a frenzy in the speakers, with more emphasis put into the bassline giving it almost a muffle and a sub-boost, there is a unique pump and twist that excels.
After his EP with Nico Luss at the end of last year, he returns to the label with a completely different take on the original by taking away that hard raw edge of the bassline and forming a swinging sub-bass style remix that has more emphasis on the kick and high synth cuts. Whilst the sub-bass drives the track in such a way, the soundscape of the track has a lot more interest and intrigue to it as there is a constant evolution of sound throughout.
