Closing Out Of The Shadows, Rush takes a more introspective approach, reflecting its place as the final track written and Thornz’ personal favourite on the EP. Shadowed textures and subtle melodic movement sit beneath a measured rhythm, creating a slow-building tension that contrasts with the rest of the project. It’s a deliberate and reflective conclusion, cutting against the preceding energy in a way that feels earned and deeply satisfying.

Following directly from the weight established on the opener, Murda Ya pushes further into sub-heavy territory, placing sustained low-end pressure at the centre of its design. Dub-inspired echoes and tonal hits drift through the mix with precision, allowing space to do as much work as the rhythm itself. The result is a tightly controlled cut where restraint amplifies impact, keeping the bass dominant from start to finish.

Opening up the BSIDE, Nuff Gyal marks Thornz’ shift toward a bouncier 4x4 framework, built around a rolling groove that prioritises movement and swing. A clear call-and-response between rhythmic elements and the bass gives the track its infectious momentum, each phrase feeding into the next with purpose. Stripped back and groove-led, it captures his more recent garage influences without losing the weight established earlier in the project.
