Ukranian artists Komponente and Kurilo are next to deliver our InSession mix and this duo have really stepped up. Co-founders of label Trance Pandemic which funnily enough delves into the depths of Trance and its influence on modern house and techno. We recently covered their new creation ‘Lord of Destruction’ EP and as well exploring their roots they also cover acid tinged house and dream inducing techno.

Connecting on a record and label is one thing but jointly producing a DJ partnership is quite another and it is impossible to see where Komponente ends and Kurilo begins and vice versa. This is how it should be with a two-pronged attack and their mix for us is as good as it gets. Acid house and bleepy tech gives way to blissed out pads throughout this tight ride.

Steve Murphy is a vinyl purist, DJ, and record collector with over 20 years of experience. His unique blend of electroclash, house, and mechanic beats with pop appeal has earned him a reputation in the electronic music scene. As a producer, Steve's skills have garnered recognition from industry heavyweights like Laurent Garnier, Carl Craig, and Skream. He released his first vinyl in 2011 with @rawax-chiwax-housewax , and since then, he has worked with labels such as @wilson-records , Hot House, Domina Trxxx, and @lobster-theremin . In 2017, he and @djoctopus-2 founded Metal Position, a record label focused on minimalistic electro. Steve has performed at top European venues, including Tresor and Renate in Berlin, Corsica Studios and Oval Space in London, and Batofar in Paris, to name a few.
