George Morales Jr. Better known as Swift ThePoet, is a Hip Hop recording Artist, Poet, and Songwriter, Born and raised in Newark, Nj. Swift began composing music at age 11, when he and childhood friends created rap group, Y.G.C. Despite his inexperience and lack of knowledge for the art, Swift's love of music forced him to study the greats. From Wu-Tang to Mobb Deep and Big Pun to Biggie. Eventually coming across a book entitled "The Rose that Grew from Concrete", a collection of poetry written by legend Tupac Shakur. Swift's perception of music was never the same again. Realizing that both rap and poetry are one in the same, combining the two became instinctive. Swift ThePoet provides a different opinion for the greatly influential music of Today's Hip Hop.
