Game Over

I created this interlude as a nod towards the Celtic goddess Rhiannon, who had the ability to lure and serenade people to life or death with her singing voice. It was also inspired by a poem dedicated to her that I found in a temple in Glastonbury which centred around her representation of both love and lust. Through lyrics and melodies, this song finally became a personal ode to the veniality of 'love' based on physical shape as opposed to the soul. The melody was co-written and accompanied by Megan Jones, a harpist from the National Museum of Wales, St Fagans - with the tune informed by ancient welsh transcripts and old folklore lullabies.
