Finally, I'm releasing this. I wrote this on a consecutive series of livestreams roughly 4 years ago. Now, it sees the light of day. This upload is a full, seamless mix of the entire album as originally composed.

Boy uh... this was something. I experimented a LOT with glitches, delays, weird detuning, granular synthesis... This thing is weird and crazy.

All instruments synthesized with Omnisphere aside from the drums and the piano, which was provided by my friend ExSilencio. I got the piano and just started messing with it until it sounded cool and then this happened.

May not be your cup of tea. It was a lot of fun for me though, and strongly inspired by my recent exploration of the artist Yayayi. Makes stuff way more on its own wavelength than what I just did (and you'll hear the influence if you've listened to him).

Synaptic Surge

I was commissioned to make this track for the twitch vtuber Tsuyamume. Check out their stream! (https://www.twitch.tv/tsuyamume)


The request was for an ambient track featuring some eastern instruments. The track features the chinese erhu and dizi flute, with a visit from eastern europe by a zither. Other than that, it's a piano and pad made in Omnisphere, and some guitar percussion from it too. Last of all, a stretched wind chime spatialized with a semi-random triangle LFO and filtered to be spacier.


Here's hoping this marks the end of a pretty long hiatus. I have more projects in the works which hopefully won't take quite as long!

Suspension

Music is for exploring places you haven't been before. I make music that makes you think, or brings you to different places. Background music, focus listens - I want my music to be satisfying and meaningful in multiple contexts. Not just one.
