Unfinished cover that I mentioned years and years ago! This and the unfinished GUN cover was what kickstarted the whole project.

USMM-BF-WIP (Sonic CD US - Metallic Madness Bad Future)

Shortly after the R2 project started (this manifested as "shakuhachi fun time" - https://soundcloud.com/swintonmusic/shakuhachi-fun-time) I wanted to learn to do some slap bass and started transcribing this. This would kickstart the whole nu-thrash project sessions.

I don't really have much to say other than I love this game, I love this soundtrack and I think this is one of the best opening stage themes in a video game ever. Wanted to do my own spin on it for years, so... here it is, I guess!

I love this game a bit too much! We had a Dreamcast in the family and I never got to experience Gran Turismo, and this being the closest thing resembling it that I could play... so I played it a lot.

Bought Steven Slate Drums 5 yesterday during the Black Friday sale! Decided to put it through its paces with a quick cover of Westopolis from Shadow the Hedgehog. Also putting Kiive Audio's XTComp through its paces for a large part of the processing as well.
