Avevo 16 o 17 anni quando persi mio nonno. Fu la mia prima perdita, non sapevo ancora che significava ma quella notte scrissi di petto Cometa.
Le parole, una dopo l'altra, presero forma, la musica pure. Non ci furono ripensamenti o prove per trovare le giuste parole e la giusta musica; tutto uscì e basta. E quel giorno dal mio caos interiore nacque qualcosa di speciale. 
Nella produzione, niente è scelto a caso. La chitarra elettrica nel solo, doveva rispecchiare il mio stato d'animo, doveva essere fredda e graffiare l'anima, avvolgere e segnare un solco profondo, come quello lasciato da una persona a me cara.
