He’s the DJ/producer behind Deep Tenor City and an avid collector of boogie, fusion, funk, house and roots reggae for over 20 years. Normally he’s found dropping genre-busting vibes on dance floors and DJ bars all over: on his long-standing Deep Tenor City show on Soho Radio, as a playlister, and promoter of his producer/musician friends.

He’s released 3 EPs including Oba and Fireheart on BBE, and 3 7” reworks on GAMM as PPA that feature in his Bside Podcast. Stand by for the next release from Deep Tenor City People. By day you’ll find him teaching at uni in London.

As ever, we explore the most treasured possessions of the best collectors, the rare-cuts, dub plates, white labels, and objects of musical sentimentality. Funk, soul, dub, disco fusions, and house.
