Light and darkness come together, you can feel the diversity in this track, which is made for two worlds. Melodic, cosmic and surprising, this is “Eclipse“ by Jäger. It’s a journey through soundcapes of house and techno at the same time. The strong and catchy bassline is combined with smart keys and some parts are just full of wide-open space. “Obscurity“ is straighter, with an angular groove and a slightly spooky vibe. And than we have “Visionary“, filled with palpable atmosphere and long lasting sound pearls. The bass loads up softly but extensive and gentle chords building up a magic moment. More light again after the break, but there is still the feeling, that these “Eclipse“ will come back.

No stranger to Rebellion, LA based DAVI returns to the label once more with his wonderfully smooth ‘Metropolis EP’ containing four original tracks. Distinguished for his layered and highly skilled production, DAVI has created an atmospheric EP.

"Metropolis is the continuation of my previous EP’s on Rebellion that represent the stories from ancient history. This topic has been a big influence for me for quite some time and I am happy to say that my story is finally complete with this EP”. DAVI  

His musical path began after he joined the Vocal Department of Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory at a young age. Now much older, DAVI is a DJ, producer, music composer and remixer whilst also regularly touring the world. His music has enabled him to grace the crowds in venues such as Avalon, Black Rock City and Monday Night Social, and release on labels including Outside the Box Music, Treibstoff, Nine Records, Stripped Music Recordings and Bits & Pieces.

On his debut LP “Highlights”, Jawn Rice puts another rare bird feather in the already colourful Mutual Intentions cap. In a unique mesh, Jawn’s deep house is reminiscent of your favourite boogie and jazz-funk jams, yet remains forward leaning in its hyper modern production style. This meeting of the old and the new provides the perfect atmosphere for guest appearances by legendary jazz vibraphone player Craig Peyton and Westcoast funkateer K-Maxx. Such innovative club music could be mistaken for the musical bastard child of Roy Ayers and Larry Heard. And still, “Highlights” undoubtedly flaunts the multifaceted DNA of Jawn Rice.
