Buenos Dias!!  Yes, hello and welcome to Il Modo's infamous weekly Progcast. Our long running series takes you around Planet Progressive every week, transporting you to another hot dance floor destination and an exclusive DJ mix. 

This week we are back in our favourite haunt, Argentina! Arriving at the home of an up and coming electronic artist who already has a string of top class clubs under his belt, this is LAMPU! 

Ignacio Lampugnani, better known as Lampu, is a DJ and Electronic music Producer, originally from Argentina. Ignacio started his career halfway through 2018, focussing on underground electronica and house music.

In 2022, Ignacio  took on courses in Academia "El Cóndor" where he improved both as a DJ and Music Producer. His sound incorporates deep, spatial melodies and progressive symphonies, whilst his DJ sets take in genres such as Afro House, Progressive house, Deep house and Indie dance,  a potent combination that makes his people dance for hours.

We welcome Jesse Freedland a.k.a Staysis, for the 112th edition of the Deep in Mix series.

Hailing from Philadelphia, a city rich in musical legacy, Staysis channels his artistic energy into crafting immersive, emotionally nuanced soundscapes rooted in Progressive and Melodic House. His journey into electronic music began at 19 when a spontaneous trip to a local underground rave sparked a fascination that quickly evolved into a calling. “I wanted to learn how the music was made so I downloaded a copy of FL Studio and still use it as my DAW today.” he shares.

What began as casual experimentation in 2008 transformed into a serious pursuit by 2019, leading to his first official release in 2020. That same year, he stepped behind the decks for the first time with local collective PhilaDeep during a livestream set in lockdown, a moment that would cement his dual identity as both producer and performer. Today, he serves as a resident DJ with the crew, curating monthly events that celebrate the pulse of Philly’s underground.

Drawing influence from titans like Deadmau5 and Yotto, his productions are defined by emotionally ambiguous chord progressions, powerful low-end rhythms, and soaring melodic arcs. His musical ethos thrives on contrast. “I’ve always felt engaged when tracks are both driving and contemplative,” he shares a sentiment that comes alive in this mix. This set orbits a Melodic House core, interwoven with his unreleased cuts and gems from artists such as Forty Cats, Avoure, and Yotto.

With recent and upcoming releases on Enormous Vision and Black Hole Recordings' sublabel Hathor, Staysis continues to etch his sonic fingerprint on the global stage. His work has garnered support from esteemed labels like Colorize, Area Verde, and Le Youth’s PRGRSSN Records, and has been championed by industry icons including Anjunabeats, mau5trap, Nora En Pure, and Martin Garrix.

Staysis thrives in the intimate energy of warehouse raves, pop-up outdoor sets, and small clubs, spaces where connection and catharsis happen in real-time. Through both his finely honed studio craft and infectious live performances, he invites listeners into a world where emotion, movement, and melody converge. The sky is the limit for this self-created, hard working, musical aficionado as he continues to build his brand on a national and international scale. Enjoy the mix!

After wowing everyone with his release on our sister label Forensic, we now welcome Sean Harvey to Twelvepoint. Seans productions are revered by all of the big hitters in the industry with his releases regularly appearing in sets from Sasha , Digweed, Pappa and Nick Muir to name just a few…

Sean delivers a darker, drum - leaning cut with “Give It To Them!”. Built around a deep rolling bassline and his trademark percussive detail — glitchy textures and tribal toms — the track drives forward with a hypnotic groove. Surging pads and shifting chords weave in and out, adding tension while keeping the energy locked firmly heads-down.
