I put music to my experiences of watching sunrises across cities. The middle section is meant to contrast with the opening and finishing sections, and meant to represent the quiet awakening of a suburban morning compared to large cityscapes like Chicago or New York. The section is not meant to sound to eery. Hopefully you enjoy :)

Special 2 hour episode of Bøne Appetit! on Tak Tent Radio featuring DJ Girldick, picking up bits from around the world, this mix blends some of Girldick's top picks so far this year from around the world - taking from labels such as Bass Water Freak Out, Ridonkulous Records, and Omnishamble Wreckords they cover the moody melodics to driving bass with Perreo-tek, G-tek, Booty Bass, and a bit beyond.

Hailing from Manchester, England they’re the brash upstart of the queer scene - kicking off just two years ago with a debut set at Derby Brewery Arms they’ve grown from their initial reputation of Donk-stress into a polyglot of genres refusing to pigeon hole the Girldick identity to any single flavour.

You’ll find them blending G-tek and Donk, Jungle and Nightcore, Baille and Bassline, nothing is sacred and no event is safe from Vogue recognised queer art rave Riposte in London where they’ve bent the boundaries of Techno to fit their vision, to a blistering 200bpm++ set for Koma Victim at SOUP, Manchester later adapted into SozLad mix series, to closing off the SozLad Takeover at Red Rash Inn - Boomtown 2023 in a flurry of fruity ravers.

For the second hour, we have the show host & label owner - Bønehead showcasing his signature blend of Electro, Breaks, Jungle & Booty Bass to satisfy your rave needs.
