Mal is making the biggest of impacts in more than one scene. It was only right to ask her to join the series. Her musical journey began as a singer, under the name ‘Malaika’ - she’s had features on BBC Radio 1, catching attention from Huw Stevens and a big audience who quickly recognised the skill. She’s also multi-instrumental, playing the guitar and bass 🎸- musician through and through 

Currently, Mal resides in the dance scene, primarily in the underground with regular shows and radio takeovers - some recent highlights to check: @foundation.fm, @dazed x @keephushuk and @kindred_ldn 🔥 check their pages 

That being said about the underground, she’s played alongside the legendary @officialfatboyslim, @fredagainagainagainagainagain and @djheidi with more massive shows on the horizon. Trust us, she’s one to watch. 

Her SOLITUDE guest mix is full of funk, bouncing through some wicked house selections with plenty of feel good sounds. Instant mood elevators inside.
