Rooted in the queer party scene, 131bpm is a dancefloor troublemaker with a talent for stirring energy wherever he plays.

Sexy, fun, and unpredictable, his sound evolves constantly, blurring the line between DJ booth and studio, and creating an experience that keeps crowds moving and guessing what's coming next.
Each set and production is sweaty, seductive, and charged with an unmistakable attitude. His approach pulls from countless influences without boundaries, weaving them into something raw, magnetic, and impossible to ignore.

Since becoming a resident at Milan’s Vitamina party in 2018, 131bpm’s presence has only expanded. In August 2023, he released his debut album on Berlin’s Body Language — the namesake party where he’s also held a residency since 2022. The record, followed by a remix album featuring BASHKKA, Roza Terenzi, Kodemul, and more, cemented his reputation as an artist who thrives on turning intensity into a sensual euphoria.

Cet épisode s’intitule « L’exil ».

Je suis né au Togo, en Afrique de l’Ouest, et j’ai grandi entre deux mondes. Quand je suis arrivé en France, ce fut un véritable choc : culturel, sonore, et surtout identitaire.

Avec cet épisode, j’ai envie de raconter ce que cela fait de devoir partir, de s’adapter, de chercher sa place dans une nouvelle culture.
C’est un mélange de nostalgie, mais aussi de libération.

L’épisode débutera dans une ambiance lente, presque spirituelle, avec des rythmes traditionnels remixés, du chant et une atmosphère légèrement tribale. Peu à peu, la tension montera vers une afrohouse plus brute, symbole de l’exil.

Il commencera par une présentation de Dann SSV et de sa résidence. Pendant 30 minutes, il sera mis à l’honneur et mixera des sonorités qui racontent sa vie et qui font vibrer.

Dans un second temps, Dann invitera Ian Andria — artiste, auteur, chanteur et compositeur malgache — à venir clôturer cet épisode, accompagné d’un piano-synthé Nord Stage, afin de nous plonger pleinement dans le thème et d’ouvrir la porte au prochain épisode.
